Where can you find creative inspiration? Sometimes we find it in the works of our favorite artists, but this is not enough. Copying helps you hone your technique, but it may not be enough to find your style.
I propose to slightly reduce the degree of seriousness and seek help from the most inspired creators – children. Try to look for interesting textures in nature and recreate them using whatever materials you have, either artistic or not. Don’t be afraid to play. Mix techniques and materials, try new things and most importantly, enjoy the process.
Carefully consider the results and mark for yourself those techniques that seem close to you and that you would like to use in your work. It can be a source of inspiration and will help when you feel stuck.
